Pollution control - construction information
The Borough of Pendle monitors construction activities to minimise pollution caused by noise, dust and other nuisances.
Operators of Construction and Demolition Sites are encouraged to apply for consent for their activities to ensure that noise is controlled.
The Pollution Control Section will provide consent following application.
The operator should read the Guidance Document produced by the Council, which sets out suitable controls for noise, dust etc.
