Salterforth Cemetery
Salterforth Cemetery is the smallest and most rural cemetery we have in our care, situated on Salterforth Lane in Salterforth the cemetery is approximately one mile from the Village. The cemetery measures just 0.39 hectares and has been open since 1903.

On a good day it is a pleasant walk to the cemetery from Salterforth or Barnoldswick. However vehicles can park outside the gate for easier access. The site itself is on a steep slope.
Unfortunately, due to its size there is no
memorial wall available at Salterforth, however, there is a memorial area where inscriptions can be added and cremated remains can be scattered.
We have carefully placed seating in the cemetery to ensure visitors are able to sit and contemplate and remember their loved ones. We have also ensured there are sufficient water supplies and waste baskets to help maintain the gravesides of your nearest and dearest.
