Pendle's first Biennial Business Survey

Pendle Borough Council's Economic Development and Tourism Department have worked with local Pendle businesses to compile this report highlighting business issues and information. This has allowed us to use the information to work effectively and to be able to provide the best service we can to local businesses, ensuring we have sufficient knowledge about them and their contribution to the local economy. 

Some areas covered within this report include; which businesses are out there, are they Pendle based or a national company, how many employees they have, have they heard of partner support organisations such as Groundwork or Chamber of Commerce?

We work with many other partners in providing Business Support and Advice and it is important to know that the message is getting out there about the various types of support and advice available.

This report is also available for the public to help understand the issues facing the local businesses and the impacts on the economy
