Building Regulation Applications are available to search online using the link provided below.
Information on the current status is available for every application on our database. Further information, such as scans of Approval Documents and Completion Certificates, are available only for applications which have been Completed since the 1st of January 2008.
Please also note that the Date of Decision given for an application is the date that the application was Approved. In order to determine the Date for Completion, please contact our Land Charges Department on 01282 661639
Local Authority Building Control Departments are obliged to retain records of applications received for the last 15 years. Although we do have some archived applications in the office, please be aware that we do not hold any details of applications submitted before 1983.
In order to perform a search, please use the link below and enter address details into the appropriate boxes. Any Planning Applications for this property will also be returned from an address search. To distinguish between the two, Planning Applications end with the letter 'P' while everything else will be a Building Regulation matter.
Alternatively, if you know the application number, use the link below to search using the "Application Number" box. Please be aware that you must add an asterisk to the end of a Building Regulation number.
For example, application 13/08/2670B would need to be entered as 13/08/2670B*
Plans for applications which have been given new addresses, such as new houses, will be found on the original address for the application, e.g Land off Manchester Road. The completion certificates for these new addresses, however, will be found by searching for the new addresses.
