The Welcome to East Lancashire booklet has been compiled by a 14-strong group of local organisations including Pendle Council, East Lancashire Together, Pendle Community Network, East Lancs Primary Care Trust, and the police.

The handy-sized guide is an essential directory for anyone new to the area and includes a wealth of useful information about employment, finance, housing, the police and emergency services, health and wellbeing, education, transport and other local services.
Available in English, Czech, Lithuanian and Polish, it aims to familiarise newcomers with local services and help them overcome any difficulties they may have in understanding how things work in Pendle.
People can pick up their free copy from council offices, local libraries, job centres, supermarkets, estate agents and many other local businesses and organisations. It is also available for download from this website using the "Welcome" banners above.
