Partnership Working
The Strategic Housing section carries out a strong partnership role both locally and sub-regionally and works with a range of organisations to deliver positive outcomes for the Borough. The main aim of partnership work is to share good practice, join up work to avoid duplication of services, and bring investment into the Borough.
Examples of partnership work:-

Partnership working with Health, Adult and Children's Social Care, Community, Voluntary and Faith Sectors. e.g. Strategic Housing is a joint lead on the Common Assessment Framework (CAF), member of Telecare Steering Group.
- Partnership working with Lancashire authorities through various forums and joint working such as the Choice Based Lettings scheme (CBL), Homelessness Forum and the Supporting People commissioning body.
