Q: What happens when I've made a request for a public burial?
Answer:
The details will be passed to the Environmental Health Service to deal with. The officer who deals with your request will contact you to advise on the action being taken.
We aim to deal with urgent requests within one working day, and non-urgent requests within five working days. This is the maximum time, and requests are normally dealt with more quickly.
If required, we can provide an interpreter in Urdu and Punjabi.
