Q: How can I arrange for my water to be tested? How much will it cost?
If your property is on a private water supply, testing can be arranged through the Council's Environmental Health Service. This will include advice on source protection, treatment etc.
If your property is on a mains water supply you should contact the supplier (either United Utilities or Yorkshire Water).
