Pollution FAQs

Q: What happens if I have made a complaint about pollution?

Q: Can you do anything about sandblasting?

Q: Can you do anything about traffic pollution?

Answer:
No. We are unable to take direct action for pollution from traffic. If the pollution is from a specific vehicle, the police may be able to assist. Where the pollution is due to overall levels of traffic, we can advise on whether the expected level of pollution is likely to exceed air quality standards. If you leave details of your area of interest, an Environmental Health Officer will contact you to discuss your enquiry.
