Q: What happens if I have made a complaint about pollution?

Answer:

An officer from the Council's Environmental Health Service will arrange to investigate the problem and contact you regarding the outcome of investigations. In the meantime, please let the Council know if the problem continues to occur.

Will someone get back in touch with me?

The officer who deals with your complaint will contact you to advise on any action being taken.

When will it be dealt with?

We aim to deal with urgent requests within 1 working day, and non-urgent requests within 5 working days. This is the maximum time, and requests are normally dealt with more quickly.
