Budding cakemakers of all ages are invited to decorate a cupcake or cake, and to watch the battle of some of Barlick's finest bakers as they try to create the most romantic gift.
The Barnoldswick bakers will be cooking their way to victory using a cast iron stove oven kindly supplied by Esse, which has its foundry in the town. The stove has been a regular visitor to Channel 4's River Cottage.
In a separate challenge, budding cake bakers/decorators of all ages are invited to design their own cake or cupcake on the Valentine's day theme. You can bring one you made earlier, or make one on the day! Entries will be judged by popular vote!
Visitors to the event will also be able to view Love Barnoldswick displays in windows of the diverse local shops and see the launch of a glossy Visit Barnoldswick guide and website.
