Design Principles SPD

What is the Design Principles SPD?
The Design Principles SPD will set out specific design guidelines for householder developments, shop fronts, advertisements and renewable energy developments for residential properties. Topics to be covered will include household extensions, energy conservation and security, such as the installation of security shutters.
Current Status of the SPD
The SPD is currently on hold due to staff resource issues. A draft version of the SPD is currently expected to be prepared later this year and made available for consultation in October and November 2008.
