Combat Stress

Combat Stress is the UK's leading Veterans' mental health charity.

Mental ill-health affects ex-Service men and women of all ages. Right now, over 5,900 Veterans aged from 19 to 97 are being supported. Our treatment and support services are always free of charge, and are proven to work.

Forcesline: Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen Families Association

Forcesline support serving men and women, veterans and their families.

Help for Heroes

Help for Heroes provides direct, practical support to wounded, injured and sick veterans, servicemen and women and their families.

Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund

The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund provides assistance to RAF families in need.

Royal British Legion

The Royal British Legion provides lifelong support for the armed forces community - serving men and women, veterans and their families. 

Royal Naval Benevolent Trust

The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust provides help to serving and former Royal Naval ratings and Royal Marines other ranks. They also provide help for partners and children.  

The Soldiers Charity

The Soldiers Charity give lifetime support to serving and retired soldiers and their families.  

Trim4Veterans

Trim4Veterans provides trauma risk management for veterans. 

Veterans UK

Veterans UK is part of the Ministry of Defence. It administers the armed forces pension schemes and compensation payments for those injured or bereaved through service.

Veterans In Communities

Veterans In Communities (VIC) was established to support serving, ex-service personnel, their families and members of the uniformed services who have experienced difficulties with transitioning back into the community on leaving the services.

VIC is a volunteer led organisation that encourages our members to take ownership and responsibility of the own lives.

Defence Medical Welfare Service

The Defence Medical Welfare Service (DMWS) provide practical and emotional support to military personnel, their families and other entitled civilians when they are in hospital, rehabilitation or recovery centres.  

DMWS Welfare Officers support patients from all three services, wherever they serve, including working within Field Hospitals during times of conflict.

BLESMA

Blesma exists to empower and promote the welfare and wellbeing of all serving and ex-service men and women who may have rehabilitative needs post limb loss. We are also committed to supporting surviving partners and dependents of deceased military personnel.

Burnley and Pendle Ex Services Club

Burnley and Pendle Ex Services Club is a Facebook group created by Armed Forces Veterans that aim to provide social and well being activities for serving and ex serving members of the Armed Forces, their families and friends living within the Borough of Burnley & Pendle.
