Grass cutting - public land
The Council cuts grass to provide the public with an attractive, safe, clean and tidy environment in which to live.
We will cut the grass on Council owned land, such as:
- public open space
- parks
- town centres
- memorial gardens
- sports facilities - to maintain pitches, bowling greens etc
- verges - to create clear visability
We do not cut the grass that is:
- privately owned
- on properties/estates owned by bodies other than the Council
