Council tax benefit - renewal
After your council tax benefit has been assessed, it will remain continuous until your circumstances change. You no longer need to renew your claim every 12 months, the council has a system of interventions to check you are being paid the right amount.
Interventions will be:
- a home visit to check that your details are correct.
- a postal review form to check your details
- a telephone call to check your details
