Benefits and Welfare Rights Advice

To find out which benefits are available and what you could qualify for, visit our A-Z of Benefits, or the Benefit Advice section at DirectGov.

Alternatively, you can contact Lancashire County Council's Welfare Rights Service (external link), who can help you with claims for the whole range of social security and local authority benefits and tax credits. They can also offer help with form completion and tribunals and provide a range of downloadable leaflets on their website (external link).

You can also get help at your local Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB) or at their AdviceGuide website.
