Shared care - mental health
Social Services work with Primary Care Trusts and Lancashire Care NHS Trust and other providers to commission and deliver services that support people with mental health problems in accessing the same employment, housing and leisure opportunities as everyone else.
There are several Community Mental Health Teams throughout Lancashire that work with people who are experiencing mental health problems.
The Community Mental Health Teams include social workers, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, support workers, counsellors and administrative staff.
