Licence - scrap metal
The Scrap Metal Dealers Act 1964 regulates trading in scrap metal.

No person may carry on the business of a scrap metal dealer unless they are registered to do so by their Local Authority.
Registration of a scrap metal dealers as a business is compulsory. There is no fee payable.
