9th February - Missed Refuse and Recycling Collections

There have been some slight disruptions to refuse and recycling collections due to the snow and ice. If your collection was missed today, we will return tomorrow (10th February) to complete it.

Water - private supply

Old fashioned kitchen taps If your water supply comes from either a spring or bore hole, you have what is called a "private water supply".

The Council carries out sampling tests of these supplies to make sure that the water quality meets regulations.

If you are not happy with the quality of your water supply, the Council can give advice on how to improve it.
