Recycling - collection centres
Any items which cannot be placed in doorstep collection recycling containers can be recycled at the local 'bring sites' across Pendle. View the A - Z of recycling in Pendle to find out about particular materials.
- Where can I recycle - There are many small sites in Pendle where you can recycle paper, cans, glass, textiles, shoes, laser/ink jet cartridges and books
- Household Waste Recycling Centres (external link) - Are larger centres for recycling household waste. They are located at Barnoldswick - West Close Road, Burnley - Balderstone Lane on Heasandford Industrial Estate and Clitheroe - Henthorn Road.
The HWRCs do not accept any commercial waste.
If you want to take household waste in a commercial type vehicle or trailer you will need to obtain a free permit.
