A to Z of services

Data and intelligence can be a valuable source of information for a whole host of different people and for a variety of reasons. Research may be used to inform decisions made by Councillors, to give residents a better insight into the area they live in, or to help local businesses understand their potential customer base.

Pendle recognises the importance of making available the most up-to-date statistics we can get our hands on. Here are some statistical publications
that you may find useful.

District Profiles

A publication on the make-up of the borough, updated every couple of years, is produced in the Policy Unit of Pendle Borough Council.

Perception Survey

A survey was undertaken in February 2011 to give residents the chance to feedback on local public services.

2011 Census

The census is a national survey carried out every 10 years that provides central and local government with information they can use to make key decisions on a host of issues relating to local communities.

The 2011 Census took place on March 27th 2011 and it is expected that the results will be ready in the summer of 2012.
