Memorial safety inspections
We have to inspect ALL memorials once every 5 years to make sure that they are safe.
If your memorial fails the safety test please do not attempt to remove the temporary make safe system as the memorial may fall causing injury or damage to the memorial or surrounding memorials.
Do not attempt to repair the memorial yourself as all memorials must be re-fixed to the British Register Accredited Memorial Mason (BRAMM) standard.
As owners of the burial rights, you are responsible for the cost of making the memorial safe.
