Local nature reserves
Pendle has five Local Nature Reserves (LNRs).
They are areas with wildlife or geological features that are of special interest locally. They offer people special opportunities to study or learn about nature or simply to enjoy it.
Our nature reserves are looked after by volunteers, and new recruits are always welcome!
