London 2012
The 2012 Summer Olympic Games are taking place in London from 27th July to 12th August 2012. and the 2012 Paralympics from 29th August to 9th September 2012. This makes London the first city to host the Olympic Games three times.
Olympic events will be taking place in venues all over the country, and the Olympic torch will pass through more than 1,000 communities as part of its relay around the UK.
In East Lancashire, the Torch will be passing through Blackburn, Accrington, Burnley, Crawshawbooth and Rawtenstall.
